Chicken Chow Mein Nests


  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 chicken breasts (diced)
  • 1 chopped red pepper
  • 50g chopped spring onion
  • 250g bean sprouts
  • 1 pack fresh egg noodles

Hereโ€™s how you make it:
1) To make the sauce, mix the grated ginger, garlic, ketchup, soy sauce and oyster sauce in a small bowl until combined. Set aside
2) Fry the chicken until white, then add the red pepper and spring onion and fry for 2 minutes. Add the beansprouts and fry for a further 3-4 minutes. Add the sauce and fry for another minute or two.
3) Add noodles to each hole of the muffin tin and pat down to make a small indent. Bake for 15 minutes at 180ยฐC.
4) Spoon the chow mien onto the baked noodles. Enjoy!
